International Delights in Durham

It has been my pleasure to dine at International Delights for many years! The service is always amazing and the food is phenomenal! If/when you’re around the 9th St area, stop in-you won’t be disappointed!

When food is made with love it just tastes better especially when it's Halal, as well as GMO and Monsanto free

The lamb Gyro Platter is the best I've ever had. These guys know how to do Mediterranean! Will for sure be back. A1 customer service.

Lamb gyro very tasty meat. Great pita bread. Sage tea was muy excellent. Also the baklava one of the best I've had.

I have tried falafel wrap at several places but nothing compares to International Delights. Food is always good and leave satisfied every time. It is a limited service - order at counter and they bring the food to you. Oh yeah, NO KETCHUP !!!

We decided to give this restaurant a try for some variety in our dining routine. We are so happy we did. The food portions are huge and the lamb gyros are absolutely delicious. The lamb is cooked to perfection and so tender. We were so impressed we had dinner from International Delights twice in one week. The staff is pleasant and truly a delight. They will also do substitutions within reason and they have vegetarian options. Ninth Street is so lucky to have this gem. Thanks so much guys!

Absolutely fantastic food, great service and friendly staff

Some of the best food you'll get in Durham. Fresh every time, never a compliant in mind. Flavorful meals without being overpowering. The whole team and store owner are amazingly kind and give great service. Very comforting vibe. A perfect date spot to get a Bull City bite at a great price.

I hate we don't live in Durham. I would eat at this place about everyday if I could. This place was AWESOME. Best tasting, food was fresh, and service was great. Next time we're in Durham, we will definitely be stopping by. Thank you for such an awesome experience.

The food was tasteless. Either I ordered on the wrong night, or everyone else that left positive reviews has never had decent greek food. Will never order from this place again.

Need a super tasty Cheesesteak? You can find one right here! Excellent bread, lots of veggies (or not, your choice), super cheesy (not the weird orange "cheese" either) and tasty sides.

We love all the food we have gotten here. We got our food to go and it was ready pretty fast. I ordered the Humas and pita bread and it was very delicious and homemade. My husband got the lamb gyro with fries. I had a bite and it was one of the best gyros I have ever tasted.

International Delights is one of my favorite places to eat in Durham. I've been enjoying their consistently good food for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. They excellent gyros, chicken or beef Philly cheese steaks, and many Mediterranean dishes.

BETTER THAN YOUR BEST PHILLY CHEESESTEAK.

Delicious! I was getting my bike fixed down the road and saw they had Greek food, as a greek food lover I had to try...2 gyros and an order of falafel later and I'm hooked! Very very good. The gyro meat is unbelievable the falafel was amazing too, even the tahini sauce was great. Definitely coming back soon

The food is freshly prepared for you. The owner was very pleasant and suggested other items I might like to try.

Not much to look at from the outside. The food was great. Portions were sizable and the prices were reasonable. A great lunch spot for under $8.

We love International Delights and eat here all the time! The food is really really good and customer service is always A1. This is the perfect hybrid restaurant for vegetarians/vegans and carnivores/omnivores to happily have an equal amount of options. Every time we come we are greeted so warmly, it's like dropping by your favorite cousin's house for a delicious hot plate of vittles. This place sits high in my Favorite Restaurants in Durham!

Everything was delicious and big portions Try this pita cheese pizza (add toppings), so good 😋 and the tea with sage.

The chicken swarma ehhhh at best. The chicken was dry and not cooked in traditional swarma method, it was just oven baked chicken, the salad was very wilted. Dont waste your time.

Never have I had a bad dish from here. Always great food and friendly service. Once you try it you will become a regular.

Amazing. The best falafel and baba ganoush ever. I've never had a cheesesteak before but my wife, who has had plenty, assures me it was on point. I just thought it was a damn good sandwich. Everything I've had on the menu is fantastic and the staff is great. We were eating in but judging by the amount of people coming through the door to get carry out, this place does great business and the reason why is it's quality. Highly recommended.

Mediterranean food that is healthy, fresh and tastey. Eat in or take out. International Delights is practically a staple in my diet.

The cheesesteak (with ID's normal toppings) is the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Emad (the owner/manager) is alway friendly and engaging. Truly one of the main things I look forward to when I visit North Carolina.

The gyro was very delicious as well as the fries! I was confused because they have a "No Ketchup Served" sign detailing why they don't serve ketchup and then I was surprised to have it served with my food? Overall, the food was good and the service was friendly.

Good hot food cooked to order. Plenty of seating, fountain drinks, Mediterranean and International dishes. Reasonable pricing, quick service, nice crew as well. Also NO ketchup, see the images - owner mandate.
